Existentialism

I've read a book about the study of dreams. Ann Faraday, the dream researcher, suggests that dreams have three different levels of meaning. The third level asks us to look inward to identify the conflict within ourselves, as well as our will and ability to resolve it. We will utlimately confront the four key existential life issues, which are as follows:

  • nothing lasts
  • we are all eventually alone
  • life is meaningless
  • we all die

The existential issues look far away from the reality we are living. The study of these issues is however interesting and makes human beings with superior souls. I believe that when we are exploring these life issues, we can discover and learn more than solutions.
